Destination Santa

     Introducing Bernard Gaines. A teenage boy whose father, a Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force transferred to Ramstein air force base in Germany.

     Bernard was often left alone, so he loved to explore the areas around base. One winter night while returning to base, an old lady was getting robbed. Bernard didn’t hesitate, leapt to her aid. The theives saw his broad stature and decided to flee. Bernard helped the lady up and walked her safely home. Accepting her thanks, he continued to the base. However, before he could reach the base main gate a magical figure appeared, it looked to be Santa. But Bernard couldn't believe that so he continued; until Santa said" Hey Bernard, I saw the kindness you showed the old lady.

     For that selfless act, I would like you to be my Christmas ambassador. You will help me hear the wishes of kids around the world. You’ll be my destination Santa, So, whenever your ready, just let me know!

     Years passed and one October morning Santa Clause came calling again, this time he was ready! So from that year on, he suits up and goes where Santa calls him, and collects the wishes of every child. Sending them directly to the North Pole.
